We have three regular weekly run training sessions for our members. Details are sent out via email and WhatsApp and posted in our Facebook Group as times and plans can vary, along with recommended kit such as head torches or high vis, depending on the time of year. All sessions cater for different paces and abilities and are open to all members. You are welcome to try a few sessions with us before committing to join the running club, contact us for more details.

Adventure Trail Run

Mondays at 6:30pm

Distance: Usually 10k

A trail run exploring Minehead and the West Somerset Coast, led by experienced runners  This is usually run in a loop of around 10k.

We often meet for a meal or a drink afterwards at a local pub (optional)

Minehead Running Club run on Exmoor

Performance Training Session

Wednesdays at 6:30pm

Distance: Usually 5-10k

A structured training session combining various techniques including reps and hill work, to help build speed and stamina.

We usually meet in Minehead for this session.

Social Run

Thursdays at 5:30pm

Distance: 5k

A relaxed 3 mile (5k) social run around Minehead every Thursday.

Ideal for beginners, couch to 5k or returning after a break or recovering from injury. Check WhatsApp for confirmation before attending
